We are pleased to announce that our Holiday Sketchbook honoring the memory of Sho-Ping Chin, FAIA received SMPS Boston First Place in Holiday Piece category and Best in Show for all of the entries!
Each year SMPS Boston invites firms to submit award entries for marketing, communications and marketing achievements. Awards are given in multiple categories in order to encompass all aspects of the marketing profession including corporate identity, special event marketing, social media, website, holiday piece, brand awareness campaign and media relations. Firms from all around Massachusetts attended the annual Awards Gala last night to honor the recipients who have made outstanding contributions to the industry.
The holiday piece category is a celebratory piece produced for one-time use to promote a generally recognized holiday. We submitted our annual holiday sketchbook, which had a very special meaning to our PAYETTE family. As 2015 drew to a close and we designed the 2016 sketchook, we were inspired by one of our colleagues. Our colleague, friend and long-time Principal Sho-Ping Chin, FAIA passed away. Her belief that architecture can be achieved in each project regardless of program, scope or mission was deeply felt. For the design of the 2016 sketchbook, we drew inspiration from her legacy.
We would like to thank SMPS Boston for the recognition of our Sketchbook and for hosting a wonderful Awards Gala.
