In an ever evolving profession, we seek to challenge ourselves daily through a variety of growth and learning opportunities. Open dialogues through Payette’s Women in Design, Revit Users Group and our Architecture Forum series enrich our practice by encouraging discussions on topics about which we are passionate. Our Young Designers Core (YDC) is the firm’s longest-running grassroots initiative. Formed to support the professional development of the unlicensed design staff, YDC provides unique educational, engagement and development opportunities. Structured around presentations by members of the firm and outside consultants, construction tours and community service events, YDC seeks to complement and supplement daily project work with new experiences and learning opportunities, fostering the highest level of professional competency and synchronizing individual career growth with the firm’s mission. YDC has received the AIA IDP Outstanding Firm Award in the 2014-2017 cycle and the AIA IDP Firm Award in the 2002 cycle — a testament to the strength and longevity of the program.
