Last night IIDA New England opened an exhibit showcasing the winning entries from the 2015 Fashion Show. The pieces will be on display through February 10 at Boston Design Center on the first floor. Last night’s festivities included Pecha Kucha style presentations from each of the award winning firms, including our entry, Loxodonta. If you haven’t caught the winning entries since the Fashion Show in November, now is your chance! Before you know it, it will be time to gear up for the 2016 Fashion Show.

We`re wrapping up World Landscape Architecture Month with a peak into the design of the XiangYa Fifth Hospital at Central South University.
The XiangYa Fifth Hospital will provide a new world class model for the delivery of healthcare in China, accommodating over 100,000 patients a day and housing over 2,500 patient rooms. Nature is further embedded into the superstructure through gardens, courtyards, roof terraces, light monitors and generous windows that provide abundant natural light and frame views of the natural setting surrounding the building.
