The Architect 50: PAYETTE Ranked 3rd in Design

PAYETTE ranked 3rd in design in The Architect 50 and 9th overall, as determined by ARCHITECT Magazine. Now in its sixth year, the Architect 50 is a qualitative look at how firms stack up across a broad range of categories, from business to sustainability to design. The Architect 50 seeks to answer the question: which firm had the best year? Firms self-submit to the open call for entries and are ranked through answers to questions covering a variety of topics: business, sustainability and design excellence.

To measure design excellence, they asked firms to submit project portfolios, and had an esteemed panel of judges score them. We ranked 3rd, with comments from the panel stating, “Sixty-six of PAYETTE’s 144 employees are LEED accredited professionals, but the firm really shined with its design portfolio. ‘Elegant handling of large-scale institutional buildings with structural innovation and distinguished curtainwall resolution.’” Congratulations to all the firms listed in The Architect 50, we are pleased and proud to be in your company!
