Learn here how the “biocontainment factor” in capital projects (new construction, upgrades, and modernizations) is changing project timelines, budgets, project teams, planning processes, and requirements for functional performance and compliance. Jeff Zynda profiles the major high-containment standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are dictating new stakeholder participation strategies, owner specifications, facility layouts and standard operating procedures, and decisions about flexibility. He uses case studies on recently completed projects across the United States, the EU, Russia, and others to illustrate current decision-making and project processes.
