We had a blast taking the 2016 AIA Convention by storm in Philadelphia this year. We had six staff members speaking about seven different topics as well as three opportunities to speak on the EXPO floor. Our Karen Robichaud facilitated a hackathon for the Committee on the Environment and we were also honored to accept an AIA COTE Top Ten Award. Our friends and colleagues from Reddy Architecture joined us at Convention this year to accept the COTE Award for the Biosciences Research Building at the National University of Ireland, Galway. It was an exciting, fun and invigorating few days. We’ve pulled together some of our top tweets from sessions we led to sessions we loved and everything in between. How was your convention experience?
We are honored to share PAYETTE has received two 2026 Green Good Design Awards from The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies—Land’s Sake Farm and The Ragon Institute of Mass General, MIT, and Harvard.
“Green GOOD DESIGN identifies and emphasizes the world’s most important examples of sustainable design and works to develop a public awareness program that informs the general public about which global companies are doing the best job in ecological and sustainable design for our world. Architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning projects, as well as product, packaging, and graphic design projects from over 30 nations were honored with the 2026 Green GOOD DESIGN Award.”
