At Amherst College’s New Science Center, weathering steel screens wrap the building’s three western wings. A rich palette of deep red and purple earth tones, accented by warm orange and brown hues, complements the surrounding campus brickwork and natural landscape.
The screens feature a hand-applied, pre-oxidized Solanum patina, giving each panel depth, variation, and a distinctive weathered character.
