With her MBA from Simmons and as a nurse from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Paula brings a distinctly unique perspective to healthcare and health sciences planning. She combines strong project management experience with a deep understanding of clinical operations, having been an ICU nurse, served in multiple other roles and then as a Senior Project Manager at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Partners Healthcare System for over 20 years. In her role at Payette, Paula is excited about re-energizing healthcare and educational planning. She is Certified Lean Six Sigma and to feed her curiosity, she listens to a wide range of podcasts; from strictly news related programs to NPR’s “Science Friday.”
In all our healthcare projects, embedded nature is a guiding principle. Integration of natural elements into our designs is not merely an aesthetic choice; it is a fundamental aspect of creating healing environments that enhance patient well-being and promote a sense of community.
From the serene gardens of urban hospitals to the thoughtful use of natural light and biophilic design elements, we are committed to fostering spaces that support both physical and emotional healing. Read more on our latest blog (link in bio!).
