James started his career in Australia working on university learning facilities and residential architecture. Within these projects he focused on design delivery and complex programming across many scales of projects. James joined Payette in 2014, and since making a move to Boston in 2011 he has continued to work on institutional projects; expanding his knowledge of pedagogical shifts in tertiary education while learning North American ways of life. James received his Masters of Architecture from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2008.
We are honored to share Land`s Sake`s newest feature on @divisare_ .
"The new Farmstand at Land’s Sake is the result of a 7-year pro bono effort that began with a Master Plan; it is the centerpiece and fourth of five buildings to be completed. All of the structures are sited to preserve the “infinite vista” through the heart of the historic site and explore the craft and materiality of “First Settlers” building techniques, with a confident nod toward modernity."
