Ben joined Payette in 2012 and quickly emerged as an expert and innovative model builder. Prior to pursuing a B.Arch. at Syracuse University, Ben participated in City Year as a first grade literacy teacher. Influenced by that experience, Ben is interested in the design of elementary schools and desires to find ways to bring design into education, even in those early years. He is a member of a community of artisans in Somerville and pursues woodworking in his free time. Ben received his B.Arch. from Syracuse University in 2012.
Penn State’s College of Engineering Master Plan re-imagines two precincts: the Core Campus, adjacent to Old Main Lawn, and the West Campus, located beyond the historic boundary of the Penn State Campus.
The Master Plan creates a singular vision for the vibrant West Campus precinct with the two new buildings—the Engineering Design and Innovation Building (EDIB) and the Engineering Collaborative Research and Education Building (ECoRE).
