Mark Oldham, AIA is interested in clarity and simplicity in the architectural expression of ideas. He believes that delivering inspired architecture requires a complex and ever-expanding collection of voices with each one essential to the craft. Mark believes in our role as stewards of that collective intelligence and in our responsibility to focus those voices into coherent and exquisite statements.
Mark has over 20 years of experience leading a variety of nationally acclaimed projects in the higher education realm and has expertise creating buildings in cherished academic settings for some of the most prestigious institutions in the nation. Before joining PAYETTE in 2014, Mark was an Associate Principal at William Rawn Associates in Boston and spent ten years leading a variety of projects in the academic and civic realms. He has extensive expertise with both public libraries and performing arts venues and that work fostered his conviction in the positive driving force that strong clients can assume in the creation of lasting public space.
