Laura joined Payette in December 2018 and is presently the Project Architect of the Meier Hall Addition for Salem State University. For a significant portion of her time at Payette, she has served as the Project Manager for our Cape Cod Community College Frank & Maureen Wilkens Science and Engineering Center, one of our first built projects to be all electric, use cross laminated timber construction and operate as a net zero building. She has been the day-to day contact with all senior leadership at both the College and DCAMM throughout the entire construction phase of the project. Laura also assisted on the University of Hartford and the University of North Carolina Charlotte science projects.
During graduate school, she worked as a researcher focusing on sustainable techniques for informal land occupation and techniques for community empowerment, including working with communities for two summers in Brazil.
