In her short time at the firm, Ellie has quickly grown into one of the core members of the Healthcare Design Studio. On the Yale New Haven Health Westerly Hospital project, she demonstrated her ability to advance a significant master planning and design effort soon after joining the firm, showing a strong design approach and an impressive ability to rapidly build her knowledge of healthcare typologies.
On Dana-Farber’s Future Cancer Hospital, Ellie led the inpatient floor planning effort with user groups—a scope representing approximately 70% of the building area. She quickly adapted to the inpatient typology and worked closely with clinical leadership on multiple fronts. Beyond her project work, Ellie has been an integral member of the firm’s Spatial Equity Research Group, where she has shown a strong commitment to integrating neuroinclusive design into the practice. She has presented on neurodiversity design at the Thomas Jefferson University Neurodiversity Symposium and at SCUP, further demonstrating her leadership and desire to impact the firm’s work as well as the profession.
