Meredith joined PAYETTE in 2023 as a designer in our Healthcare Studio after working in New York City for several years. She played a key role in the interior architecture for the White Plains Hospital New Inpatient Building and the Women and Children’s Entrance, earning the trust of both the internal team and the client. Meredith also led the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine’s Scaife Hall East Engine project, demonstrating her ability to work across scales through the independent coordination of an exterior-focused scope.
In addition to her project work, Meredith has served as co-chair for the Young Designers Core, where she launched new design-focused programming such as STACKED, an event centered on the discussion of contemporary design precedents. Her involvement has added meaningful value to the firm by supporting emerging designers, enriching internal discourse and strengthening PAYETTE’s culture of learning. She has also served as a design critic at institutions across the Boston area, including Wentworth, Harvard GSD and Northeastern, and has been an instructor in PAYETTE’s OpenLAB Studio for the past two years.
