Robert J. Schaeffner, AIA, LEED AP Principal

Bob joined Payette in 1981 after receiving BArch and BFA degrees from RISD. He was named partner in 1995. Bob focuses on science research and teaching buildings for colleges and universities, and he brings a special focus to the opportunities for campus transformation inherent in the design of these projects. Bob gained national attention from his article, “Recovering from Sputnik,” published in the SCUP journal Planning for Higher Education in 1998.
