Thomas M. Payette, FAIA, RIBA Principal

Tom was President of the firm from 1965 through 1998 and continues to drive some of our larger international healthcare and academic projects. His mantra that “Architecture is for people, not the gratification of the architect” still influences new generations of architects in the firm. Tom received a BS in Structural Engineering from Michigan State and a MArch from Harvard and was elevated to FAIA in 1977.
