and Tenant Fit-Out

The Research Master Plan was completed to provide a comprehensive understanding of research space throughout the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) campus and help define a new vision for research at BIDMC. In the context of divesting 5 research facilities, the Master Plan evaluates 361,000 RSF and recommends how to align 120 Principal Investigators and 680 scientists into a combination of thematic and departmental groups. Recommendations in the Research Master Plan include a new state-of-the-art barrier rodent facility and upgrades to two existing BIDMC animal facilities.
