Princeton University - Princeton, NJ Guyot Hall Museum Renovation
This renovation provides office space for the Princeton Environmental Institute (PEI) and a small museum for the university’s natural history treasures, while modernizing and upgrading the early-1900s building without compromising its historical and architectural integrity. This new space serves as the hub for environmental teaching and research on campus, providing a re-energized venue where cross-disciplinary collaborations between faculty, researchers, and students in the sciences can take place. The main focus of the first-floor gallery is the display of a complete allosaurus skeleton that was formerly raised high in the space, but has been brought down to eye level for closer inspection. Ringing the hall are PEI faculty and research of offices located on both the first and mezzanine levels.
