Conrades Wetherell Science Center

The new integrated facility houses classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, lecture spaces and faculty offices for the biology, botany, chemistry, computer science, geography, geology, math, physics and zoology departments. Programmatic elements in the addition and existing buildings create interdisciplinary zones where students from the various departments share lounges and create community among the departments. The central atrium in the addition connects and unifies the science center both visually and physically and is used as spill out space for the large lecture halls.
